Funeral Arrangements for Ron McCoy
It is with great sadness we share the news that Ron McCoy passed away on Thursday morning, December 8. Please pray for Ron’s wife, Sandy, and family. He will be greatly missed.
Throughout his life and fight with cancer, Ron was determined to preach to the people he loved and led in West Virginia, and to bring glory to God. Our lives will be forever impacted because of how God used Ron to lead, challenge, and inspire us.
As our current WVCSB President, and the Associational Missionary for the Upper Ohio Valley Association, Ron believed and charged, “there’s no reason West Virginia cannot be the epicenter of revival in our nation.”
During these difficult days let us rejoice that Ron has gone home to be with the Lord, and proclaim, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading” (1 Peter 1:3-4).
Visitation: Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Cameron Baptist Church (62 Squirrel Alley Lane, Cameron), from 1-3 p.m., and at Grisell Funeral Home (400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville), from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral: Monday, December 12, 2016 at Grisell Funeral Home (400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville), at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Brian McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery (326 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville) with the Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard conducting military honors.
