The West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists has a block party trailer available for use by churches, associations, and missions cooperating with the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists.
CONTENTS OF THE TRAILER
The trailer includes a popcorn machine, a sno-cone machine, a cotton candy machine, crock pots for serving nacho cheese and chips, a propane cooker with pot, carnival style games, an inflatable bounce house, a portable generator, tables, chairs, registration tents, and enough consumable products to serve 150 people. It also includes a portable sound system, as well as extension cords, serving utensils and more.
COST
While trailers are expensive to purchase and maintain, the WVCSB seeks to offer the block party as economically as possible. Therefore, a user fee is charged each time the trailer is used. The cost is $175 for four days and then $25 for each day after. This fee covers the costs of maintenance for the trailers and supplies for up to 150 participants for each concession. Travel expenses are not included. It is the responsibility of the church, mission, or association to arrange for transportation. Please be aware that the trailer weighs nearly 7,000 pounds and should only be hauled by a vehicle that can carry such a load.
SCHEDULING THE TRAILER
The trailer may be scheduled for a maximum of nine days by a church, mission, or association.
All requests for scheduling must be made on the application form, and must be completed in full and returned with check payable to the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists to confirm dates.
All requested dates will be confirmed on a first come-first served basis. Once you have completed the application, please send it and applicable fees to:
